What to do on a sunny day and go for a ride on your Jet ski and get out of the routine, and discover and explore completely different places instead of going to the same place where you always go?

I am going to guide you and give you good ideas where you can ride your Jet ski and spend a spectacular and fun day exploring new and beautiful places.

These places are in Winter Haven, Central Fl. The name of this beautiful place is The Chain of Lakes.

The Chain of Lakes, Center FL

They are a chain of natural lakes that interconnect through canal systems with each other. There are more than 17 lakes that you can ride on your jet ski from one lake to another and if you have the Orcapak cooler rack, much better.

The landscape is beautiful, and you can go and have a spectacular and different day; the best is that all this is free. One of the boat ramps we have is William G. Roe Park. It’s beautiful and free of charge. Its bathrooms, pavilions, and ramp are well equipped for any jet ski or boat.

WHERE TO EAT AT THE CHAIN OF LAKES

There are several restaurants where you can arrive with your jet ski or boat, where you can park it on the shore of the lake or on the deck and you can go to have lunch, or you can have a few drinks and then continue with your route visiting the rest of the other lakes

BETWEEN LAKE MAY AND LAKE HOWARD

RESTAURANTS ACCESSIBLE WITH YOUR JET SKI                           

There are several bars where you can simply do the same.

If you prefer to have kids or prefer to spend your time or have your drink relaxing in the middle of the lake there is a place called “Caribbean Bay” where you can stop at a window and buy whatever you want without having to get off the jet ski and then put everything in your cooler and have your drink at the lake or at the sand bars.

This bar is connecting between Lake May and Lake Howard.

LAKE HOWARD RESTAURANT AND THE SKI TRAP

At Lake Howard, there is another divine bar, Old Men Franks, where there is a band playing and you can also park your jet ski on the deck, get off and eat an appetizer, have a cocktail, or whatever you want.

At this lake on the Northern side, you will get the ski trap, they are floating buoys where you can do slaloms and it is super fun.

ELOISE IS ONE OF THE LARGEST LAKES and LEGOLAND SKI SHOW FROM YOUR JET SKI

Following your journey, you can go to Lake Eloise. It is one of the largest lakes in the entire chain. When you enter on this lake, at Northeast, you would find a floating tire bank that you can use to park your watercraft and view the Ski Show from Legoland Park three times a day and is free of charge.

It is a lot of fun for the children.

What you must do is find out the time of the ski show, and you go to see it and have a wonderful time. Is so funny for the child and not that children.

This is a beautiful and very fun day.

LAKE JESSIE SEAPLANES BASE AND FLYING ACADEMY

Following your journey, you will find Lake Jessie. In the North side, you will find a Seaplanes Base and flying Academy. It is amazing to watch the Seaplanes take off and land on the water. For us this was a very nice experience. On this lake, you can run through the slalom ski trap course on your Jet ski, and it is so exciting especially when the seaplanes take off or land.

LAKE WINTERSET AND THE SANDING BEACH FRONT

Lake Winterset, in this lake to the Southside is a white sanding beachfront, with crystal clear water, where everyone gathers on their jet ski or boats, they play their music, and you can get off from your jet ski very easy because it is very shallow. In this lake in the Northeast, you will find a slalom ski trap course too.

This is a tour that I recommend doing it.

This Chain of Lakes has numerous lakes to explore and some of them have a nice ramp.
